For most people, Lian Li PC-011 is the best chassis to pair up with 3080 and 3090. It’s a reasonably-priced good-quality ATX case and is recommend by many folks on reddit as well as other PC forums.

But since people have different budgets and style preferences, we decided to include other models and make it a roundup review.

So without any delay, let’s begin.

1. Corsair 4000D Airflow

Best Budget PC Case For RTX 3080 And RTX 3090

Corsair 4000D Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX…
  • Combining innovative cable management, concentrated airflow, and proven CORSAIR build quality, the 4000D is a fitting choice for an immaculate high-performance PC.
  • The CORSAIR RapidRoute cable management system makes it simple and fast to route your major cables through a single channel, with a roomy 25mm of space behind the motherboard for all of your cables.
  • Includes two CORSAIR 120mm AirGuide fans, utilizing anti-vortex vanes to concentrate airflow and enhance cooling.

As its name suggests, Corsair 4000D Airflow is a mid-tower ATX chassis focused on providing a good airflow and keeping the PC components cooler in a decent price.

To achieve this, it comes with a perforated front-panel that has gap on its either side for further airing.

Behind this front panel, you’ll get a single 120mm intake fan and there’s room for installing two more like these. Or you can also remove this preinstalled fan and mount a 360 mm rad on the front.

You can also mount up to 280mm rad or two 120/140 mm fans on the top side.

Speaking of which, the top side is also perforated and comes with a dust filter, while the rear side has holes in different areas, such as PCIe slot covers.

Apart from regular slot covers, 4000D has two more for vertical GPU mounting.

The riser cable and vertical mounting hardware is not available though, which means you’ll have to get it on your own. The rear side also has one 120mm fan preinstalled to take the hot air out of the chassis.

The only side not to feature any vent holes are the left side which has a temperated glass and the right side which is a plain steel sheet.

Modern PC chassis divide the components into two sections, and 4000D airflow is no exception in this regard.

While the upper compartment stores components like graphics card and motherboard, the lower compartment contains power supply and storage devices.

Both of these compartments are separated by a thin, perforated metal sheet. This organization allows better cable management which in turn allows better airflow.

While it can accommodate different types of motherboards, we would suggest budget-oriented ATX motherboards for 4000D to keep the overall cost under control

This chassis also has velcro ties across different areas to help to tie down cables and not let them obstruct the airflow in any way.

The I/O panel is an area which should have more connectivity options as it has only one USB 3.0 Type-A port, one USB 3.1 Type-C port, headphone/mic jack, and power/reset buttons.

The other issue many people have reported is that the side panels can be a little difficult to remove as well as reattach, and you will require some time to get used to it.

2. Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic

Best High-End PC Case For RTX 3080 and RTX 3090

Lian Li PC-O11DW 011 DYNAMIC tempered glass on the…
  • Country of origin : China
  • Front: Tempered Glass+Aluminum
  • Side: Tempered Glass

If you have a slightly higher budget but want to stick with a mid-tower option, you can consider Lian Li’s PC-011 Dynamic.

This chassis actually made headlines upon its release as Lian Li collaborated with popular germany-based overclocker Der8auer for the construction.

And this collaboration is probably the biggest reason why PC-011 is all about flexibility.

Like all Lian Li cases, it’s well-built and can easily last you a few years. It’s made up of steel for the most part with glass and aluminum used in some areas.

The first unique thing you’ll notice here is that there are two tempered glass panels instead of one: left-side panel and front-panel. This gives you way more ease when assembling your PC.

On the flipside, however, these glass panels will get smudges over time. So be ready to clean them time to time.

To remove these glass panels, you’ll have to remove the top panel held in place by two thumb screws. After this, you can remove both of these panels with your hands as they don’t require screw or any other manual mechanism.

On the right side of the front glass panel, you’ll find the I/O connectors that include one USB 3.1 Type-C connector, two USB 3.0 ports, and other standard audio jacks.

The other difference you’ll notice is the unusual layout of the rear panel. Here you get a PSU bay on the left of expansion slot covers and there’s no fan mounting as there’s plenty on the other areas.

At the top, there’s a plain panel with venting lines for better airflow, and it comes with dust filter underneath as well. Here you can use a single 280 mm rad or two 140 mm fans or three 120 mm fans, whichever you prefer.

You get as much as four dust filters here which’ll make the chassis very less dusty in the long run.

In case you need to have more fans, you can place one 280 mm or three 120 mm fans at the bottom too.

You can install any motherboard with ATX, mATX, or mini-ITX form factor, but we would recommend an ATX model for its suitability. You can check our motherboard guide for PC-011 Dynamic to have more info in this regard.

As said earlier, the Lian Li PC-011 dynamic is all about flexibility which makes it perfect for average users as well as enthusiasts.

It gives you option to have multiple 360mm rads, a secondary PSU (after readjusting the motherboard tray), up to six storage devices, and virtually no restriction for GPU length.

The only downsides we could think of in this otherwise flawless chassis are no fans and vertical gpu mounting hardware out of the box. You can obviously get both of them on your own but it will increase the cost further.

3. NZXT H210i

Best mini-ITX Case For RTX 3080 and RTX 3090

Sale

NZXT H210i – CA-H210i-B1 – Mini-ITX PC Gaming Case…
  • NEW FEATURES: Front I/O USB Type-C Port, Tempered glass side panel with single screw installation, and upgraded Smart Device V2
  • MORE MODERN: USB 3.1 Gen 2-compatible USB-C connector on the front panel, it’s easier than ever to connect the newest smartphones, high-speed external storage, or the latest peripherals to your PC
  • SMART DEVICE V2: Includes a faster microprocessor for NZXT CAM-powered control of two RGB lighting channels and three fan channels that support either voltage regulated or PWM fans.

Unlike other chassis in this roundup, the NZXT H210i comes with a mini-ITX form factor.

It’s a successor to the NZXT H200 case, and has different improvements such as Smart Device V2, Type-C port on the front-panel, and a tempered glass side panel.

Just like other NZXT H-series chassis, it comes in an all-black scheme and has a plain-yet-attractive design.

Despite being a SFF case, NZXT H210i gives you plenty of cooling options. You can have two 120/140 mm fans on the front side (or one 240 mm rad), one 120mm fan at the top, or one 120 mm fan/rad on the backside.

Apart from this, you also get two Aer fans preinstalled, but you do get the option to replace with their own fans if you like. You can check out our dedicated case fan guide for NZXT H210i to have more info.

As far as the clearance goes, you can have the cpu cooler with up to 165mm height and graphics card with up to 325 mm length.

For storage, you can use the rack on the backside of the motherboard. It can accommodate up to two 2.5″ SSDs, but there’s no 3.5″ drive caddy. In case you have 3.5″ drives, you can mount only a single one of them at the bottom of the case.

That being said, your PSU space will be limited in case you use that bottom area.

The I/O panel can be found at the top side. Like the rest of the case, it’s minimal with a single USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port, a single USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A port, and a single Headset Audio Jack.

Another thing we liked here is the perforated PSU shroud which increases the airflow and keeps the temperature level in check.

It has a pre-installed LED strip on the ceiling which, depending on your preference, can be good as well as bad thing.

The only issue we have with the chassis is that it isn’t as small as other ITX models. Yes, it gives you more room in terms of cable management and storage devices, but it’s not the smallest ITX case out there.
